Sunday, September 12th PTO Fried Dough Booth will be at the Peabody International Festival from 11:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.. Location is #44 (across from the AOH, and right next to the First Aid booth)
Monday, September 13th PTO Ice Cream social in cafe
Thursday, September 16th PTO Meeting in the cafe /Time: 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Monday, September 20th PTO Meadowbrook fundraiser begins (flyer forthcoming)

PTO Board

We, the PTO Board Members, welcome all parents to what will be an exciting, educational, fun filled school year.

As PTO Board Members, we have organized family orientated events, cultural enrichment programs and after school programs throughout the year.

To fulfill our proposed budget, it is necessary to fund raise. We hope you will sponsor our fund-raising events, so the children, as well as parents, will be able to enjoy cultural enrichment opportunities here at the Burke School.

While fund-raising is important, we need family involvement at our activities to make the school year a success.

Please join the PTO and volunteer whatever time, or make any donation, that you can. We thank you for your past, present and future support!

What's required to be a PTO member? Financially, just $15.00 a family for the entire year.

What are the funds used for? Our children's educational enrichment. We are able to do this by providing our children with cultural events, activities, and bussing for field trips (two a year per grade level).

The PTO has also funded ice cream socials, purchased playground equipment, and provided two annual scholarships for alumni's of the Burke School (one male and one female). These are just some of the many ways we are able to do so much for our children.

Most importantly, join the PTO to stay involved in your child's education! at out meetings, you will learn what is happening at the school and how you can make a difference! We want you and we
need you to help make this year a success for all our children.
